For the project, I wanted to start with a character concept and develop it into a finished, easily usable 3d game asset.
For Kylix, I wanted an inquisitive, slightly eccentric young woman who runs through the city's shadows, exploring abandoned passages and tangling with all manner of mysterious figures. To contrast with her introverted and blunt personality, I gave her a distinct, stylized outfit. I referenced Y2K-era fashion, specifically goth, punk, and Harajuku streetwear, so that she would fit into a playful, nocturnal city setting.
The project's next step is to do some final tweaks on the textures, finish up the rigging, and integrate the rig into Unity's Humanoid Avatar system.
